People’s Park is a charming multi-level civil war-era building transformed into an airy urban space in the heart of historic Downtown Waukesha on the corner of Clinton and Main. Housed in a landmark building, our fun and hip gastropub has a full serve patio and funky rooftop in the warmer months perfect for people watching! Two inside levels are open year round and are often transformed through festive decor and always changing local art displays bringing something new every time you visit. Also, our dimly lit late night vibes make it the perfect place for that first date. Each one of our three levels is unique and offers a dining and bar experience we know you’ll enjoy! Oh.. and we can't forget our magical Holiday Tree!
In Wisconsin we relish the warmer months and we love this time of year! Join us on our rooftop and enjoy a view of Downtown Waukesha’s eclectic architecture and soak up the sun as you dine in a fun, hip, and cozy outdoor atmosphere. As the sun falls, our rooftop garden, lively nighttime bar, and famous “People’s Park Holiday Tree” light up the sky making the perfect backdrop for your evening. It’s no surprise the People’s Park roof has become a favorite local hot spot and we know it will soon have you saying…. “Meet you on the rooftop!”
The most intimate of our indoor dining, our second floor is accommodating to our larger groups and parties. From the diverse art covered walls to the U shaped bar perfect for mingling, our second floor is the place for meeting friends or your next business lunch! Here the star of the show is the famous art collage above our larger first floor bar. As an artistic collection of found objects representing people over many years , you are sure to find one that will put a smile on your face. You can even try to find Waldo or play "I SPY"! Our first floor is a bright and sunny corner spot with large windows that open in the summer to create an open air environment with European flare and the rotating art, inspired by people, of course, will always give you a new conversation starter! Across the street our illuminated Holiday Tree lights up the intersection of Clinton and Main making sure you can't miss us!
